Who's legally responsible for getting guest consent — me or Snaptide?

You, the photographer. The terms put it bluntly: you're solely responsible for obtaining all necessary rights, consents and permissions from guests and event hosts before uploading content, and Snaptide doesn't verify or manage guest consent. The platform gives you the consent checkbox and the privacy tools, but it doesn't chase your guests on your behalf. If you're shooting events professionally, bake consent language into your booking process — it protects you, your clients and your guests.
