Is there a way to see what a template looks like before I commit to it?

Yes, and it's better than you'd expect — you can preview before applying. The template modal has a Preview button that opens in a new tab without changing anything saved, and it lets you choose what to preview: the guest login page or the full-access gallery page. So you can genuinely walk through the guest experience in a template before committing. When you're happy, Apply Template makes it live. Zero-risk way to dress an album up.
